The "El Paso" Ai-Hwa Chinese Language School is now a recognized Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML) by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC).
The precedent is a response by the OCAC to the U.S.-Taiwan Education Initiative to assist schools in the promotion of Mandarin teaching with Taiwanese characteristics.
